  There's one word that gives a perfect description of the merchandise at Hot Topic: expensive. It honestly hurt my heart when I walked in there and saw all the price tags. Wristbands for seven dollars, a themed lanyard for eight dollars are definitely a bit of a stretch. Little plushies/stuffed animals were much over ten dollars. They certainly had cool and "want" items, but the price tags drive you away. The only things that may be reasonable priced are their pins and playing cards. They definitely have a variety of shirts but I wouldn't recommend getting any anime-themed shirts there. Old Sac's Evangeline's, which is pretty expensive on its own, had some of the same shirts but for cheaper. Would not recommend going unless you're willing to empty your wallet.
